| If you were to visit our studio, you would definitely notice pock marks and scratches on the floor, most the result of my stomping around to the music during my show! Not only do I get into the rhythm of things, but I find it's the perfect way to stay awake all night! |

My new-found addiction is eBay. I can spend hours looking at who’s selling what junk to whom. Unfortunately that’s led to my buying a good amount of somebody else’s junk. |
| I got into radio because: |
of a love of music and a fascination with the buttons and knobs and lights and switches and wires and the over-all atmosphere of radio stations |
|
| After my show each day I like to ride 8 to 30 miles on my bike. That's because I’m an average, somewhat overweight guy who loves junk food and hates exercise. Cycling is the only kind of exercise I enjoy. When the weather’s bad I spend 30 minutes to an hour on a stationary bike. I read as I pedal to keep from being bored. I’d rather just read, but it burns fewer calories without the pedaling. I also enjoy TV. I own 4 TiVos so I can record just about everything that’s broadcast on nearly every TV network around the clock, saving it all on hard drives to watch at my convenience. I have two athletic sons, so there’s always a game to attend, fewer now that my older son graduated and no longer plays sports. In two more years his brother will also graduate, and I’ll have to edit my bio and tell you about all the exciting volunteer work I’m doing in my newly found spare time. |

| I was born in North Dakota, but before I started kindergarten my family moved. I consider Phoenix, AZ my hometown. As a kid, my serious side aspired to be a lawyer, a music or math teacher, or an architect. My fun side wanted to be a radio star like the DJs I listened to on my favorite radio stations. In my second semester of college the fun side won, and I switched my major from music to broadcasting. It turns out you don’t really need a college degree to be in this business. I could have saved some serious tuition money if I’d known it sooner. I’m married and have a teenage daughter. In my spare time I enjoy bike riding (cycling sounds too serious!), taking walks with my wife, watching football, and discussing the condition of mankind, our place in the universe, and whether we can change the deteriorating condition of the world. |

| I grew up in Portland, OR and got to do a lot of traveling because of my father's government job. It's possible he was some sort of secret agent or spy. We lived in east Africa, Spain, and all the biggies. I played radio and TV as a kid, and that led me to get into the real thing. So it all worked out great! I'm also lucky to have a fine wife, two daughters, and three grandkids, though most people tell me I don't look old enough to have grandkids, especially when they see me on my Harley-Davidson Softail. |

| I'm divorced and live alone. (My cat ran away, too) I eat meals right out of the pan while standing over the sink. I'm a good housekeeper, but not obsessively neat. I have joint custody of my daughter, Natalie. She's spoiled rotten. My number one hobby is radio. It's my love, recreation and creative outlet. I can't believe I actually get paid to do it! I spend much of my free time researching music and brainstorming ideas for the "Weekend 70's Show," heard on Saturday night. |
